DESCRIPTION:On March 20th we will be hosting a native planting event held in Downingtown’s Kerr Park. We invite you to join us at 10:00am to help us continue our riparian buffer planting. In addition to planting\, you will also be able to connect with the team and fellow nature enthusiasts\, and get plugged in to all the fun projects we’re going to get ourselves involved with over 2021.\n\nMeet at the yellow (middle) bridge in Kerr park. Please bring your own shovel\, water bottle\, gloves\, and any snacks. Masks will be required for this event. T shirts will also be on site and available for sale. All funds raised go directly back into our parks.\n\nChildren must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nWe hope to see you there!\nThe Restore Our Roots Team

DESCRIPTION:Check out our virtual Tree Commission program on August 5th at 6:30pm!\n\nJoin Restore Our Roots (ROR) as we present the benefits of composting and explore different methods appropriate for a vast variety of homes from suburban properties to apartment units. Composting is one of the best ways to reduce your weekly trash amount and to grow your own fresh vegetables. We plan to introduce the science of composting\, touch on each of the possible composting practices\, and provide resources to attendees to further learn the process and necessary tools to start.
