Help Us Plant a Forest! π±π³
Restore Our Roots Miyawaki Forest Community Planting
Friday, October 16 | 3:30 p.m.β6:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 17 | 9:00 a.m.β2:00 p.m. (it may end earlier depending on how many volunteers come out!)
Johnsontown Park– Meet at Dave Hatt Pavilion (or find us at the nearby planting): 122 Viaduct Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335
Join us for a special community planting event as we transform this space into a thriving native forest!
Together, volunteers will help plant thousands of native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers using the Miyawaki methodβa dense, diverse planting approach designed to establish a healthy forest community. Your helping hands will create habitat for wildlife, support cleaner water, improve soil health, and help restore a resilient native ecosystem for years to come.
Come for one session or join us for both! No experience is necessary, and all are welcome. Weβll provide guidance, work gloves, hand trowels, light refreshments, and snacks.
